I feel that music permeates all our life. Be it the carols you sing in a church or the Gregorian chants or the bhajans in a temple. They all have one thing in common, and this common thing happens to be my favorite subject ” Rhythm” Rhythms have been observed in all activities in nature, the rhythm of the seasons, rhthm of the heart beat and of the rain and the sea winds and the tides. All of them have a rhythm, In fact the clock we use to calculate time is one of the biggest rhythm. Just like time and distance, Rhythm is one of the primary building blocks of everything around us. Objects which do not get a rhythm seem to perish quickly and the ones who can adjust tend to prosper. Today when you lie down on bed, take a few minutes to think about this. How many rhythms can you recognize? Some people are obsessed about finding a perfect song for them. Something like a opening music for their own personal commercial. When I feel like rambling, I just take my mic and shout into it. And sometimes real gems pour out of me and most of the other times it is just stupid rambling. When you decide to make one specific song to be your own. you are taking a huge step in organizing your inner space and you may feel constricted enough to throw up. Great news. How to make sure you don’t end up witha broken heart? Two ways 1. Dont be in a relationship 2. Spot trouble before it happens and handle it. Your choice. But I have a suggestion to make. Before it is too late and especially if you feel you are doing ok. for god’s sake just read thsi book for one and make sure you are actually doing ok. Do I sound obnoxious? Yes Coz, I just broke up you see and now I know how to get back with my Ex. I’m doing this for a project, and if you have any experiences it would help. Ex. how do you feel when you hear a certain genre of music? It all hinges on the persons mindset. While soft soothing music is calming to one person,it may cause a melancholy reaction from another and yet be boring to another. Some people can play and understand music almost instantaneously whereas some just can’t seem to get the concept. Some take years and some never get it. Does it have anything to do with how people think? Can we tune our brains to be musically inclined? In Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligence, music is one of the seven. Most people call that “talent,” and it works just as you describe. The theory of multiple intelligences is not universally accepted, and there are new types of intelligences being added to the original list of seven. I think we can “tune our brains” through practice and the right learning/teaching approach. Anyone can teach “naturals,” a great teacher can translate the material to whatever intelligences you already have. Just a few examples: People who are good at math, for instance, are often able to translate that type of thinking to understanding music theory. And people who are athletic or kinesthetically gifted have an advantage in learning the posture and holds for an instrument without needing to be told how to do it. Other people understand technique and color without having to study. Visual learners have the advantage in reading music. |
